What’s so hot?

When it comes to being beautiful most of our society looks for the definition of it in the media. We are taught that beauty is only shown by bodily appearance and we learn to discard the one true thing that makes each and everyone of us breath taking, our soul. The soul is the core of who we are and the foundation of our being.
The woman today is told that beauty involves make up, fat-less bodies and perfect hair. Truthfully our bodies are just containers and they are going to expire one day, and all we are going to be left with is our soul. So why are we worrying about the outside so much? What’s going on inside?
Ever since we were little we were given the image of beauty through many things, “Barbie” the one toy a little girl couldn’t live with out, “G.I. Joe” a little boys hero.
The world teaches us that there is a certain perfection that is only physical, but how can this be when no man or woman is perfect. No one can have the ideal image, yet we strive to prove it wrong. God has given us distinguishable traits that make each and everyone of us beautiful, it doesn’t always have to be looks, look at Mary could you not say that she is the most beautiful woman ever to walk this earth. Her love and loyalty towards God was amazing and yet we are told that true beauty is only skin deep. (i dont think its done yet)

As a woman i think the most beautiful thing in a man is his faith and love towards God,and that you are able to be loved for who you are, what you have inside you, a man that makes you feel beautiful and he never has to say it, a man so gentle, that you can see so much Strength in him, a strenght that grows every second you are around him yet hes so humble and caring,the amazing gifts that he has brought you not flowers not chocolates but true gifts of loyalty,frienship and true everlasting love.

I stumbled across this today when i was looking at www.lifeteen.com, this is an amazing song...and it inspired me to make a prayer journal/thing where i can just speak from my heart.
